These papers cover the breadth of Smith’s veterinary career, as a student and as part of the Army Veterinary Service. Included are notes, correspondence, printed articles, artwork, and photographs. Some of the documents were created in an official capacity, working for the military, but there is also research work possibly carried out for personal interest and investigation.
